1/2 Cup beer of choice (we used FreshMex lime lager)
30g Tex rub
1 Jar Chipotle salsa
Baby gem lettuce
100ml vegetable or sunflower oil
Method
Cut the tofu block into 16 pieces by cutting in to 4 slices then cutting each slice in to 4
Add the flour, beer and Tex rub to a bowl and mix together until a batter is formed
Heat the oil in a frying pan on high heat then once hot dip each piece of tofu into the batter and fry for around 2-3 minutes until golden and flip over and fry for another 2 minutes
To toasted tacos add lettuce, 1-2 pieces of the battered tofu and a tablespoon of chipotle salsa
